HOLE is an exceptional opening on the escape room playing field. HOLE is located at the interface between the artwork and the game. The implementation of the game has been created wordlessly, where the means of art play a key role in solving the game. Music, light and visualization create an atmospheric experience that transports players through tasks towards the sensory world.

“HOLE is the culmination of long-term planning and desire, especially the attraction of combining the mechanical and artistic worlds.”

          -game designer Sasu Paakkunainen

A conventional escape room game is a story set in a special space in which players attempt to leave the room within a certain time limit by solving puzzles set for them. HOLE is not based on a backstory or linguistic gameplay. HOLE is deep and relaxed.

In addition, the uniqueness of the concept is the accessibility of the game. HOLE is made of elements that can be dismantled and can be transported in a van to different locations.

“The portability of the game enables such an experience in new contexts, in those where it would otherwise not be possible to experience it”
